I was born in Connecticut but currently resides in Central Florida with my family. Writing came naturally to me as a kid. I fell in love with the alphabet when I learned the alphabet song. I would literally look at letters and see them as artwork and began crafting stories at a very young age. I wrote my first play at the age of 7 and cast my siblings as the characters. We performed it in the living room for my mom. I used reading as a means to escape the reality of many of my childhood circumstances. I was a very quiet, shy kid and always wanted to be invisible or disappear. Reading made me feel like no one could see me, so, I spent endless hours with my head in a book, drifting into different worlds awakening my imagination. It was inevitable that I would turn my mind to writing. I never looked back, writing poetry, short stories, plays, ghost writing, entertainment writing, and journaling everything based on the beauty and shapes of the alphabet. Reading was more than fundamental for me it was simply FUN. It was my imaginary friend, therapist and an escape from the real world.
My hopes are that my readers will find just as much enjoyment reading my books as I have when writing them and that everyone can become hopelessly lost in the words just as I did as a child. No particular genre is off limits for me. I will literally write about whatever pops in my head and I will craft a story from it. I surprised myself with my introductory book being a crime novel (even though its not the first book I wrote).
Some of my favorite Authors throughout the years are Toni Morrison, Stephen King, Richard Bachman (Stephen Kings pen name), Judy Blume, V.C. Andrews, Terry McMillan and so many more to name.
When I am not writing, I love a good outdoor adventure, especially on or in the water, doing community service and spending time relaxing, enjoying nature and caring for my family.
